pairOne Pre-Scan Services
Our pre-scan service automatically scans each and every email for vulnerabilities and MIME segments that could indicate the presence of a virus. That means that we find and isolate any emails that have the ability to execute functions without the permission of the end user.

As soon as a vulnerable email is found we notify the user and quarantine the email until further examination. We then analyze the email. If no virus potential is found the mail is then sent on its way.

If there is an executable MIME segment or any other reason to suspect a virus is in place, we then move the email to our second stage of virus protection services.

pairOne Dual Virus Scan
In the next step of our virus protection service each quarantined email is scanned to root out worms, Trojan horses and macros before they can compromise your system security. We examine all MIME segments, html attachments and all file types.

We work around the clock to keep up to date on all virus updates so that we can keep ahead of any and all virus outbreaks and make sure your system remains secure.

Bounced Attachments
Certain types of attachments are commonly used by computer hackers to create and send viruses. Whenever our system locates an email with these types of files it is automatically bounced back to the sender and a notification is immediately sent out.

System Notification
Whenever pairOne finds a potential email virus, notifications are immediately sent out to make sure that users do not accidentally send a virus to a customer or client company. Some viruses are designed to try to fake the senders ‘from’ address. Our system automatically recognizes and blocks these forgery attempts.

Redundant Protection
As with all pairOne systems our virus protection programs are built in with dual redundancies so your company is not vulnerable even if our main system should fail.
