Q: How to I setup my email?
A: Please read «How to...» for your mail client software.
Q: What are email aliases and how many can I use?
A: Email alias is a «nickname» or sh
ort name for email address. Any mail sent to these aliases will be automatically forwarded to your existing POP email account
or redirected to mail account on another server. We do not place a limit on this forwarding.
Q: What are auto responders and how many do I receive with my account?
A: You can set up auto responders to automatically respond to incoming email. You can have as many as you like.
Q: Can I check my e-mail through a web browser?
A: Yes, all our hosting packages include web based
e-mail software.
Q: What is the POP/SMTP Server?
A: POP and SMTP servers are: «mail.yourdomain.com». Please read «How to...» for your mail client for more information how to set up POP and SMTP accounts.
Q: I receive the following error trying to send an email: "550 Mail Relay not allowed".
A: Please enable SMTP authorisation in your email client. Please also try enabling POP before SMTP or simply checking your incoming mail before sending one.
Q: Why am I getting the "Server not found" message?
A: Please check if you have specified the email server correctly. You can also encounter this problem if your DNS hasn't resolved; please try setting mail.domain.com, domain.com or your ip address as the server.
Q: I'm flooded by spam messages.
A: You can set up spam filtering software in your control panel.
Q: How do I set email to all my subscribers?
A: We provide utilities to set up mass mailing lists. However, please do not abuse this service for spam.
